NETRONOME POWERS SECURE-24’S NEXT GENERATION MANAGED SECURITY SERVICE
Managed security services provider is the first to expand solutions to include protection of threats hidden within encrypted communications

Managed security service providers (MSSPs) offer outsourced solutions for security-conscious enterprises, ranging from firewall services, intrusion detection and prevention, content security and web filtering. As secure Internet-based applications and services continue to grow, the amount of encrypted communications to and from the enterprise is also on the rise, creating a blind spot in the network security architecture. As a result, MSSPs are looking for ways to enhance their services to provide the same security benefits for the increasing levels of encrypted communications.

Engineered with these requirements in mind, Netronome’s SSL Inspector is the industry’s highest-performance transparent Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) proxy designed to provide network security devices with line-rate access to the plaintext of SSL-encrypted communications. This ensures that threats, such as spam, spyware and viruses, data theft or leakage and other forms of cyber crime, can be identified when transmitted inside of encrypted SSL flows.
