Linley Data Center Conference 2016
Feb 8, 2016 - Feb 10, 2016 - Santa Clara, CA.
Cloud computing is exploding and the industry is grappling with an accelerating pace of technology innovation. Hyperscale data centers are breaking the traditional definitions of servers and networking while rapidly scaling performance. Carriers are adopting SDN and NFV, replacing traditional infrastructure equipment with commodity hardware located in data centers. The supply chain is to trying to keep up, with vendors at all levels shortening development cycles and adopting new architectures. For help sorting all this out, attendees marked their calendars for the Linley Data Center Conference at the Hyatt Regency Hotel, Santa Clara on February 9-10.
This two-day, single-track event is the only one of its kind focused on the processors, components, and interconnects for data-center servers and networking. The Linley Group opened the conference with an overview of the market, technologies, equipment-design, and silicon trends for designers of data-center equipment. The second day started with a keynote by Jon Masters of Red Hat.
